In Your Element^tm offers playshops and products that support self-discovery and genuine self-expression. Imagine that each of us is a radio station, constantly broadcasting our own unique energetic signature. The clothing that we wear can either create static, making it more difficult for us to be seen and heard OR it can be harmonious with who we are, thereby magnifying our inner and outer beauty.

In Your Element^tm is a creative process that will provide you with the tools to both better understand yourself, and then to communicate your true self to the world through your own personal sense of color and style. Your unique rhythm can be directly translated into color, design, texture and pattern. When you “wear who you are”, in other words wear clothing that is in harmony with your physical energy, you will be supported on many levels and show up with amazing clarity, beauty, and power.

The information in In Your Element^tm playshops is transferred via the rhythm of the elements. Utilizing all of our senses, through music, movement, scent, breath, texture and color, we will explore the energy of AIR, WATER, FIRE and EARTH. These elements that comprise the universe, also show up in the rhythm of our bodies. We will play with how the elements are reflected in our physical appearance through the ways that we move and speak, and even in the shapes of our bodies. In Your Element^tm will help you to understand in depth each of these elements and how they relate to color, texture and design.

Additionally, although you can probably relate somewhat to all of the elements, there will always be one or two that most closely mimic your own primary characteristics. You will learn what your primary element is, and then discover the art of consciously selecting colors, textures, shapes and patterns that harmonize with you. Personalized color fans and cosmetics are also available that will further support you in dressing “in your element”. Ultimately, you will be able to tailor both your wardrobe and home décor so that it more accurately reflects who you are, from the inside out.

PLAYSHOPS:

Three consecutive in-home playshops are offered that must be taken in order. Each event lasts 3 hours (usually 6:30-9:30 pm) and a group of 6-12 people is required. The person hosting the playshop receives the evening for free.

Playshop 1: general overview of the elements, personal typing (includes a custom color fan)

Playshop 2: customization of your style via information from the chakras, includes discovering your personal archetype

Playshop 3: individual makeovers-clothing and makeup

BARBARA CARROLL:

Barbara Carroll, the creator of In Your Element^tm, has been discovering and playing with the elements for over 10 years. She graduated with a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, and a minor in Industrial Relations. She has additional experience and training in Life Coaching through the Coaches Training Institute. Equally important, she brings her life experience as mother, partner, friend and lover of truth and beauty to all that she does.
